Right now I am listening to Mustang Sally on the internet radio at work.
All you want to do is ride around Sally
ride Sally, ride Sally
right before that was another good sing along song - Thank You by Sam and Dave
You didn't have to love me like you did,
but you did, but your did
and I thank you.
I was just listening to the song that they played in Newfoundland so my friend would know who was calling her on her boyfriend's cell for her 50th birthday. It has been a favorite of both of ours for many years...
Think I'll head out to Alberta
Things look good there in the fall,
Got some friends that I can go to working for,
But by then it will be winter,
Not that much for you to do,
You can meet me if I send you down the fare
Four Strong Winds that blow lonely,
Seven Seas that run high,
All those things that don't change come what may,
Though I think you'll change your mind
If I ask you one more time
I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way.
My friend lived in Alberta and went home to Newfoundland after her Father passed away. We have remained true friends and this song can always make us think of each other and we never have a reunion without hearing this and Leaving on a Jet Plane and shedding a few goodbye tears. It was first done by Ian and Sylvia Tyson many years ago but will always remain dear to me!
sorry, don't remember.. ):

"Not Afraid" by eminem. I never use to like him when he did his grunge rap but I really like this song.
I'm not afraid to take a stand
Everybody come take my hand
We'll walk this road together, through the storm
Whatever weather, cold or warm
Just let you know that, you're not alone
Holla if you feel that you've been down the same road

I have a Coldplay obsession happening lately. Drives my son potty. We have Metallica happening at one end of the house and Coldplay at the other. Talk about a clash of cultures.
I LOVE their live versions. Although I think Chris Martin looks like a lunatic sometimes the way his nose almost touches his piano. Though as my daughter points out, if you are a multi-millionaire talented musician married to Gwynth Paltrow you can do whatever you blummin well like...! I shall post youtube clips of some of my favourites:
"The Scientist":

"In my Place" ( my favourite . Love the guitar )

"Fix You" - live at the Sydney Cricket Ground for a fundraising concert after the Black Saturday Bushfires here, which killed 200-odd people and wiped out entire villages. Chris Martin runs through the crowd like a nutter, to the crowds delight.

They are so good to sing along to as you can see by the crowds....love em.
Oh I forgot the lyrics to Fix You, which I find apt when feeling like cr*p with a new symptoms:
"Tears stream down your face
When you lose someting you can't replace"
Small Victory by Canadian Singer Garnett Rogers
Small Victory
You've no business buying a mare like that, but buy her if you must."
He bit the end off his cigar and spat it in the dust.
"She's old and lame and barren, too
She's not worth feed and hay
But I'll give you this," - he blew smoke at me -
"She was something in her day."
"I recall her well ten years ago; she was a winner in her prime.
She was fast and lean and willing, but they raced her past her time.
And though she had the heart, her legs were gone,
And it wasn't hard to see, they kept her at it
In the hopes of just one more small victory."
"She was shunted Œround from track to track, from Kentucky up to Maine.
They'd run her in cheap claimers, all doped up to mask her pain.
And it it's my advice you ant I'd say, the poor thing's had her day
You'd be throwing good cash after bad. It's best you turn away."
Well they led her Œround the auction shed, and the bidding started low.
"She'll go for dog food," someone said, "the market's been that slow."
But she raised her head and pricked her ears, and before the hammer fell,
She was mine.
My friend turned Œround to me "You're soft-headed I can tell."
But she's been shoved from pillar to post," said I, "And always done her best.
They used her up, they wrung her dry; you'd think she'd earned a rest.
So if she does not naught but end her days beneath some shady tree,
I'll have saved her from the knacker's yard, and that's enough for me."
Well, that was near two years ago, she's filled out some since then.
The more so since she's been in foal, she eats enough for ten.
And this morn as I crept to the barn around Œbout half past three,
There stood nursing on still trembling legs, one more small victory.

The answer depends on if it is a partial song or full song.
Partial song was "Endless Passion" by me. I use it for the ring tone on my cell phone as I can't hear it ring otherwise,
Full song was "Do You Feel It" also by me. Wish I could listen to that one with vocals, but I can't sing.

Sunshine On My Shoulders - John Denver.
I'm a diehard fan.

Love listening to Zen music. Its very relaxing for my mental fatigued brain, I cant listen to music that contains lyrics...makes me confused.
Turtle Island String Quartet's version of "A Night in Tunisia"

Wake Up Call by Maroon 5 - in the car on my way to work this morning.
"Fix you" by Coldplay...thanks Jemm for already putting some of tte lyrics down. I love Coldplay and always have it played into my earphones when I have a bran MRI. Except the time I put on some classical music as I thought it would relax me but the clanking was too noisy so next time I went for Coldplay. This is music that all the family can enjoy which with 3 kids aged 15,18 and 20 is quite surprising and not forgetting my DH..when he is at home.
Love Sarah xxxx
PS Next MRI with contrast on Monday for screening for oral drug trial so more Coldplay!!
"I Wanna put on my my my my my Boogie Shoes"....KC and the Sunshine Band.
Just heard it! And, I love it!
