OUR VERY OWN ALEX WINS NATIONAL MS AWARD!
Hi All,
I just spoke with Alex (HVAC) and she and Polly have recieved a place in the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's National Hall of Fame for her MS Advocacy work and of course, Polly as well since Polly helps to make MS visible to everyone!!!
The official ceremony is in Denver on Thursday, but Alex is too sick to travel due to her chemo treatments. They surprised her yesterday with her own plaque, medal and lapel pin so that all can recognize her great work she has done as an MS Advocate!!! All the while, struggling with MS AND cancer!
Three cheers for Alex! Hip, hip, hooray!
