I agree...this is ridiculous!!!! I know that China is bidding very high prices for wheat, oil, rice etc and they seem to have no ceiling on what they want to pay. I saw that if the U.S. opens a natural gas reserve in the Midwest, the other countries have already bid very high prices for it so it won't even stay in this country!!!!
I don't like the billions of dollar profits each quarter that the oil companies are getting, so where does it stop??? I have noticed alot less trucks on the road here on our highways.
We are doing alot less driving too.

I just read on the news that Americans have actually driven over 1 billion miles LESS since this gas crisis started. That is alot of fuel that was not purchased. Diesel has gone through the roof. It's costing on average $1,300 for a trucker to fill up his rig, getting on the average of 5 miles to the gallon. No wonder the prices are sky-rocketing in the grocery stores.
It's hard to know who to blame for this gas crisis and never-ending rising fuel prices.

You are lucky over there, in UK we are paying over £1 a litre, cant go anywhere really, about $1.60 a litre i think. I need a horse and cart :)

Heh, you might just need them to ride to Anchorage!!! Something's gotta give pretty soon, wages sure as he** aren't going up! I work for a company as a courier, and the total combined of all our couriers is over a million miles a year. I don't know how anybody can stay in business with that kind of increase! Good luck on your tests.
