An Update

Well after all the testing I went through last week and all the Anxiety on waiting for the results. I seemed to be getting better each day... My doctor called last night and we talked for a few mins.. He explained to me his standards for B12 is above 400 mine was 285 he thinks this was causing some of my issues.. He also told me that being I had foot surgery and I laid around the house for 5 weeks not doing anything that that in itself took a toll on my body and it would be a few more weeks before my body would catch back up... He said its like being in the hospital for 2 weeks it can take weeks to feel normal again... I also asked about my BP and he wants to wait on BP meds because he said my anxiety caused it to get high and he asked did I want to be treated for anxiety.. In a way I do then again who knows? I am just glad that once my test results came back a few days later my symptoms started to go away especially the tingles.. I still have a little bit of that in my right arm but I think its because I let my mind tune into it.. I really feel the Nuro specialist I went to if he had any doubts about MS he would of wanted more test. I have another appt with him on 22nd but I may cancel no need to spend all this money if he sees no cause. I will let my general Dr treat me... Thanks for all the kind replies means a lot when one is stressed to the max.. Oh and my BP today is 128 over 76...

HVAC its WolfPack for me lol... I do not have MS was just having some issues and come to find out its from my surgery I had and anxiety along with not really low but low B12 I in no way think I have MS at all now... My regular Dr when into a deep conversation about surgeries and the after effects it can do on you especially if your use to going going and then stop for 5 to 6 weeks like I did... I have been here on Med Help f0or 5 yrs now so I will never be a stranger lol...

It is nice to hear from you again, Alien.  It brings pleasure to know some are helped by members of this board.  While anxiety can get the best of us, as you have learned it can be from the anxiety of not knowing or the anxiety causing the issue.  Either can be treated.  It took me a long time to give into the meds but I am happy I did.

Don't make yourself a stranger and keep us updated should things change.

Hello fellow Tarheel. Yes there is a lot of stress in waiting and not knowing. There is no real way to ease your mind completely. We all kinda lose our minds at this point in the process. I know I did. I was completely nuts when I finally found out what was wrong and for the year after. I look back at it and think wow, people must have thought I was straight out of Dix.Lol. It does get better.

Hang in there.
