Interesting! Brother new of someone DXd with MS by my Neuro

My sweet brother found out today for me that a friend of his nephew was just diagnosed with MS (he's 20) by MY WACKO NEUROLOGIST!!!!!!!!!!  I asked if he smoked, my mom doesn't know.

I said well he must have had a butt load of lesions for that guy to DX him......my brother said he didn't have an MRI, he had a CAT scan.  Wouldn't the MRI be better?

My brother wrote down the name of the Neurologist and my mom said call this guy...and I said umm no that is the smoking fanatic! lol

I have been going through  a horrible flare too a the moment and have felt all of the above and more. i could barley sleep for the last three nights for the weird sensations cramps and zaps and today thank God it is slowley passing. Just when you think your getting somewhere i find a flare comes!!

My neuro had dx many of my friends with all sorts and warned me before i went to him how arrogant he can be and he was but i have faith i will still get answers.

Dont give up your find answers.

I am moving on.......this flare is the worst I've ever experienced.  Last night in bed I hurt all over, I had zaps in my head....my fingers were tingling and my butt had a weird cold spot on it.  I wish that Pain management dr NEVER pushed on my neck.  Im going down hill since that day!

When my mom told me the name I busted out laughing....I said hello that is Dr Nuts!  She said OMG that guy that treated you so badly......nevermind .... lol

Got to love my family.........they are looking out for me :)  I'm VERY blessed in that aspect and thats most important

So strange.  I wonder if he had other testing, because a CAT scan as I understand it does not pick up lesions.  It identifies strokes and things like that.  That's what was told to me at the hospital by the ER doc when he decided not to give me yet another one.  Could it be that this nephew of a friend twice removed (kidding) has had evoked potentials or something else done and you just haven't heard about it, do you think?

Don't give it another thought!  Move on to someone else!
