Resting Tremor

Hi again. Not sure if this is related to MS but I have a twitch in my right forefinger. It's constant, pulsing, moves my finger side to side. Started about same time as other symptoms. First would last a minute and go away but has progressively gotton worse. It can last weeks now. Not painful just annoying. It move when my hand is at rest but dissapears when I use my finger. Been looking it up on the net but all I can find is Parkinson's which I'm very sure it's not. Could it be a trapped or irritated nerve?

Thanks. It just annoys me more than anything. Curious to see if it was nerve problem or maybe pinched nerve from carpal tunnel. I'm leaning towards carpal tunnel. I wont worry about it anymore.

I've had resting tremors in both hands for a few years now. Didn't even notice them until my doc asked how long they had been going on.  My mother had them too.  Like Jon said, they could be caused by lots of different things, not all of them linked to MS or parkinsons.  My father has parkinsons and his tremors and movements are totally different than mine or my  mother's.  Add it to your timeline in case it is related and ask your doc the next time you're seen but don't fixate over it.

could be quite a few things including MS.   In and of itself, doesn't mean much.
