What type of Evoked Potential test? VEP, BAER, or SSEP?
Bob
Good luck with the tests. Generally the examiners only perform the test and not the one to interpret the results. Also even if they do what it means they may not be able to tell you because they are not a DR. Just didn't want you to get your hopes up but i do hope you get answers soon.
I work in and blood lab and draw blood all day..... Almost every patient asks me WHAT is this test and WHY did he order it. I do know what the test is and I probably DO know why the DR. is ordering it but legally I cannot tell them I can only tell them to direct all questions to their DR.
Good luck to you, however it's my experience the Dr must get the results and relay the information to you, the person giving you the test isn't allowed to discuss the results with you. You may ask when the results will be transmitted to your Dr, and you may obtain a copy of the results from the facilities that is giving you the test.
