Single dose of ivsm????

Hi~ I saw my neurology doc today for treatment of relapse symptoms I'm experiencing.  My MRI shows no new spots nor any active plaques.  Nonetheless, my balance and vision are off, I have tremors & tingling in my left arm.  He wants to do a SINGLE day of IVSM.  I've not heard of this before....have any of you?  I've done 3 & 5 days before but not one.   I'm not having the optic issues I've had before, (besides floaters).  I just don't want to do a single day & have to go back for a 3 day later you know?  Can anyone provide some info please?  Thanks to all!

Thank you Laura.  Perhaps that is his thinking b/c my MRI showed no new spots and no active spots.  It's mystifying to me that each time I experience symptoms my MRIs do not change.  I'm thankful, don't get me wrong very grateful.  It's just that I feel crazy for having the symptoms.  Nonetheless I have them.  Thank you for your perspective on my comment as it seems apt on.

Kindest regards,
Skye

that is an interesting dosage plan.  I have not heard of a one day plan of IV Solumedrol before but it might be just enough to give your system that little tweek it might need.

There is a difference between disease progress in the lesions and the physical symptoms we might experience.  They don't necessarily go hand in hand -we can have worsening symptoms without more disease.

see you around,
Laura
