Solumedrol and pregnancy

I am 6 months pregnant with my 3rd child and have been experiencing severe dizziness. I have seen my OB as well as my neurologist and today they sent me in for an MRI and found 4 active lesions in my brain. First of all I was surprised I thought that I would be at my relative healthiest during this time, but obviously I was wrong, Now they want me to go on a three day run of iv solumedrol treatments and I am wondering if anyone has an experience or knowledge of such issues.

Hello, I went in to see the Dr. for an allergic reaction on my face. I heard him tell the nurse to give me 40 mg solumedrol.  When I read his notes for my treatment that day she had actually given me 125mg through injection. I am pretty angry and frustrated about this especially when I specifically said to him "I have severe atopic dermititis (eczema) and recurring skin infections and wei    gh 98 lbs please give me as little meds as possible. Four months later I am still having side effects such as back pain, concentration loss, severe muscle loss, extreme thinning of the skin, headaches, body aches and irritability. Are these permanent, and how long does it take to completely leave your system? Is there a way to rid your body of this poison?

Hi Andy and welcome to the forum, this is a great place with the best people you could ever meet.

I'm sorry, but I can't answer your question.  Have you talked to your dr about this?

Maybe others will know the answer and give you some advice.

Again, welcome, I'm glad you found us.

Take care and best wishes on your pregnancy.
