Happy New Year to All.
You are all stars in my eyes, with each one of you having very special gifts and talents. Just look at some of these great posts! Combined, you make this forum a true community and an exceptional place.
My wish at large is for 2011 to see major advancements in the diagnosis, treatment and awareness of MS, so that each and every one of you visiting here reaps some benefits and a better New Year.
Best wishes to all for good health, peace and prosperity in the New Year.
Audrey
Consider me impressed, sir! You went to the trouble of typing exactly the correct number of asterisks for each of the seven words. Well done!
And Happy New Year, everyone!
Sorry. Trying to start the year off with a little more humor than last year. I really don't mind putting 2010 on the shelf.

"****, ****, ****, ****, **********, ************ and ****. Those are the heavy seven. Those are the ones that'll infect your soul, curve your spine and keep the country from winning the war.”
—George Carlin, Class Clown, "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television"
(by the way, I censored them. Wouldn't want to curl the censor's straight hair or straighten their curly hair.)
Happy New Year! May it be a year of health and joy and peace for us all!
This is to everyone, but especially to the editors regarding my post about "No ball drop?"
I don't understand why you had to censor what I put for celebrity D. Clark's shortened first name which is a four-letter word beginning with "D" and ending with "K"! I certainly don't want anyone here to think that I was using bad language before D. Clark's name. I grew up with that guy on the radio in the 50s!! If disallowing the short form of Richard is an automatic thing here, I suggest rethinking it. After all, the word D-I-C-K was someone's name long before it became an obscenity. I learned to read on the D___ & Jane readers.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I went to bed early last night, but woke up at 11:30 pm so I got up then just to watch the ball drop on TV. But so far, this new year is not beginning at all well: I tuned in to ABC and all they showed was **** Clark counting down the seconds to 2011. THEY DIDN"T SHOW THE BALL DROP!!! I couldn't believe it. Never before had they not shown the ball drop!!! What the heck? Were they afraid terrorists might have rigged it to explode when it hit bottom??? I felt gyped and am sorry I didn't just stay in bed.
Did anyone else watching the Times Square TV coverage on another channel see the ball drop?
