nuvigil and wired for sound.....

Hello everyone, today was my first day on 150 mg of nuvigil. I am also going to take cymbalta but I did not want to take them both on the same day. Well, i can't take this drug. I took it at 6 AM ate some breakfast and have eaten anything for the rest of the day. I feel like I will choke if I eat. My mind is racing on overtime and I couldn't sleep if I had to. I do not like this feeling at all. I will say there is no fatigue going on today. I am not taking it again tomorrow but was considering taking 1/2 on Friday. Has anyone had these effects from it?

Maybe this is what I need.. Of course starting with half a pill might be a better option...lol... My fatigue keeps getting worse... In fact I haven't got dressed in 2 days... By the way I'm not naked just wearing my night gown around...lol...

Do you mind me asking what milligram you where started out at?  I'm sure it needs to be tweaked a little and then it will probably help you... I do pray your able to get some rest tonight...

Everyone has a different chemistry and reacts differently. I can't take stimulant type drugs or antidepressants at all for the reasons you describe while others can. Sometimes it takes a awhile to get used to them. It takes some trial and error for all of us to find what works and what does not.

Sorry it it is not smooth. You can always call your Doctor. Sometimes they get back to you in a timely manner sometimes they do not.

I don't drink caffeine ... thank god or i would be up for 3 days. I think i would rather feel the fatigue than this.... just awful! Anyone who is new to this take a 1/2 dose of this med if you are prescribed it ....

Imo I think a half pill would be a good option, and did you skip caffeine today?

I'm surprised your doc started you on a full pill, what's the dose if you don't mind?
