Tingles in the Sun

Hey all. How is everyone today? I have an unusual question. When I'm out in the sun too long my left arm gets tingles that feel like goosebumps without the bumps. It travels around my left side mainly, back, head, leg. I was wondering if anyone else gets this feeling when hot. Seems to be only on my left side. If it was my body trying to cool off wouldn't it be all over?

Hi. I also have this symptom. Whenever I get hot my left forearm feels like it's covered in goosebumps, but there's nothing there when I look. Sometimes it spreads out, but it's usually only on the left side. I haven't been diagnosed either. My internist thinks I have MS and I've seen 2 neurologists. I'm scheduled to have an EEG and a 3rd MRI on July 7th. (No lesions on the first two MRIs.)

No, not diagnosed. Went through a few tests before money ran out. Just waiting till I get some more before I get insurance. Left side has been giving me trouble since last spring. The tingles are gone now but the weakness is worse on my left side. Shrug. Maybe one day I'll figure this out. Until then I feel better being able to talk to others in this forum who know what limbo land is like.

Hi there,

Many with MS do experience temporary worsening of their symptoms when over heated.  A lot to times, once you cool down, the symptom will calm down as well.

I'm not remembering - were you dx'd?

Stay cool!
