My father WWII, Korea, Vietnam 33 years. He is buried with my mother in Arlington on Chaplain's Hill.
My brother 22 years in the Coast Guard. He writes all the clean water laws for the U.S. I am very proud of him.

I , too, am checking in late . My Dad served on the USS Hancock during World World II. He was a proud Navy veteran and I am proud of his service to our country just as I am just as proud of EVERY service personnel who sacrifices for our freedom!!

Yes, thank you to all the veterans. My dad served for 22 yrs in the Army. Then he became a victim to Agent Orange.
In Australia, the nation stands in silence on the 11/11 at 11am to recognise and not forget the sacrifices of the brave men and women, who have served and protected under our flag. Officially the 11th day of the 11th month is called ANZAC Day, remembrance day of soldiers past but this day has become a symbol of remembrance of all who serve us.
