I did some research on a more in-depth medical aspect and find no bad interaction with Rebif and Aspirin. In fact the swedish.org clearing shows in its rebif instructions that one can take up to 650mg of aspirin every 6 hours for relief from flu like symptoms.
Perhaps you just got a weird reaction this time. I sometimes get a bad one from my Tysabri, for example, my last one was accompanied by a headache that lasted almost 24 hrs and then went away. But all others had been ok.
Hi Richarme! I've been on Refbif since mid-April
While I've never taken Asprin, what you've described is nearly identical to what I experience when I forget to take anything with my injection all together (I usually take Advil as well).
Often people experience a different response to different medications. It could just be that for one reason or another, while not the *cause*, Asprin is useless for mitigating our specific post-injection side effects. In other words, you might as well be taking nothing when you take an Asprin. My MS nurse suggested that Tylenol is the most effective NSAID in preventing the ickies, but Ibuprofen works almost as well [?].
