Hi LQ- welcome to our group :-)
As ess mentioned, there really are no meds aimed at PPMS. Have you been on any meds, or were you just diagnosed?
Apparently I'd had MS for about 20 years before I was diagnosed. My initial diagnosis was SPMS. There are no meds aimed at SPMS either, but my doc started me in Tysabri, which is a bit stronger than Tecfidera. It worked for a while and then stopped. So I switched to Rituxan in November. You might want to ask about these 2 meds as well.

Not yet. Researching first, for myself.
Hi there. Cute dog!
Tecfidera is really not designed for progressive MS, nor are the other more traditional MS drugs--they're all for Relapsing Remitting. Fortunately more work is being done in this area, so perhaps your possibilities will increase soon.
On the other hand, if you received info in the mail about Tecfidera, someone medical must have gotten you on that mailing list. This is likely to be your doctor himself or herself. Sometimes doctors do try the RRMS drugs on progressive patients. Have you discussed this whole subject with your doctor?
