my lp is normal? what does this mean

please could you tell me what my neuro may mean when he says my lp results are normal,along with my veps,he has requested to see me in his routine clinic,in october,i hope i will not be discharged,what can you tell me please.

LP could mean lumbar puncture. Normal means there is nothing wrong that  could be found that would point to a problem. This is good, of course.

Just remember that having a negative LP and a negative VER doesn't mean that you don't have MS.   Like Paula said,  he will take into consideration your clinical exam, and MRI's.

Diagnosing MS is a long drawn out process.

I am not sure what kind of answer you are looking for here. If the results of your LP and your VEP were normal then your doctor didn't find what he was looking for.

What kind of symptoms sent you to see a neuro and why did he send you for a LP? Has he done any MRI's?

Sorry I am not of much help but I don't know your circumstances for seeing a neuro.
