What makes you happy?
My relationship with my husband Mike. We are like two kids teasing and playing with each other. He laughs so hard he has to stand up and tears come.
My pets. Boomer my Old Dog who waits outside my door when I am sick. Dante, my old Dalmatian, who sits by my chair. Polly my deaf Dalmatian who runs figure eights at top speed. Moon Pie my cat who snuggles and his brother NeHi who gives kitty kisses.
My many friends in person and on the forum. I have friends who take me for walks. My friends and I laugh a lot. I am lucky to have friends of all ages.
Music of all kinds.
Art. I remember going to New York and just being blown away seeing art I had only seen in books. Hopefully I will start painting again.
I like old movies Hitchcock, Screw Ball Comedies, any thing with Cary Grant.
No matter what is going on with you I hope you have something make you happy today.

For starters, my great husband (an absolute NUT!) and family. My new family here. Music of all kinds from all over the world. My guitars.
My garden (OK, it's a mess right now, but it still makes me happy). The beautiful array of food that springs forth from this messy garden that we get to create wonderful meals.
The amazing mountains and forest I live in. The critters I feel blessed to see (bobcats, coyotes, foxes, deer,rabbits, turkeys, ravens, hawks, banana slugs, even an occasional mountain lion).
Letting my rhythms be ruled by sunrise, sunset, the moon and her phases, seasons - I threw out my watch.

Watching my husband wrestle with my rapidly growing boys always makes me smile. Soon Trace will be as tall as he is, which makes it quite hillarious. Cole loves to stand on the couch and give dad a "flying" tackle. Boys are so funny.
Playing in my garden. Even weeding is fun for me. If I can design or redesign a garden I'm happy for hours. I love sharing my plants.
Sitting on the patio with a bon fire and the neighbors talking about nothing in particular, or just sitting on the swing enjoying the peace and quiet.
A good cup of coffee and a magazine.

That through all the difficult days I am still able to feel so totally Blessed and that my life is so rich and full of beauty, I am able to see & smell the flowers blooming, hear the birds singing and Shadows wonderful purrs...
I start each day thanking my Heavenly Father for all the many Blessing He has given me...
Each one of you have added so much to my life and I am thankful for each of you...
Love, Happiness, and Laughter are what I wish for each of you along with Praying you'll soon feel better..

Good question... I would have to think about it....but I'm usually happy, people say I have a good attitude about things. I kind of go with the flow.
My hubby makes me happy... he is a special guy and I'm so happy to have him in my life.

It makes me happy to read all the things that make others happy here - despite our problems we really are a lucky bunch. I am especially happy for Michelle putting everyone on the bus - what a big step forward.
Time with my children makes me happy - I am very proud of them and the good job we did in raising them!
Special moments with my granddaughters - the sponstaneous hugs and giggles from a 2 and 5 year old can make even the grumpiest person happy.
Laughing with my husband, even when we are laughing at ourselves, makes me happy. It is a joy to have him around to share the good times with, because we have had enough bad with all the health issues.
Even the gloomiest of moods lift into happiness for me when the sky is blue - especially that robin's egg blue color. Caribbean blue is the next best happy color.
Happiness descends on me when I stop and watch the world around me - what a marvelous production going on all the time.

My Husband makes me laugh, my dogs love me unconditionally, and my good friends. I'm with Janette on the pretty scenery - love mountains, lakes and beaches, and Chocolate! Oh yes chocolate makes me happy too!!! :)
Great thread Alex! I sometimes get mired down in how yucky I feel, or how tired I am...and forget the blessings in my life.

My youngest went to 1st grade, so all are in school all day. Sorry for the yelling, I am just really happy today!!

Beautiful scenery - God sure had fun making all the colors & Pretty things! I love to sit by water (Ocean or lake), it is such a calming activity.
Joyful music that has a good beat & uplifting words.
