having trouble with MRI results

My MRI results were...there are focal cystic change projecting in the lateral perisylvian temporal lobe and there are subtle FLAIR hyperintensities projecting in the subcortical white matter and perisylvian frontal lobes...Subtle cystic encephalomalacic change in the right perisylvian temporal lobe...I have had a brain tumor in 2010 and it was removed I realize this has nothing to do with that, but I am very confused and scared  by this.. I have recently moved and I am looking for a new neurologist, but I need some peace of mind for now...I have numbness on the right side of my face,and many other health issues can this be associated with MS

Sorry no one answered you yet. The reason I didn't to begin with is, given your complex neurological history, making sense of your MRI is difficult for me. The terms used are not generally found in a typical MS protocol MRI report.

Usually the upshot is written in a section called "conclusion" or "impression".  You've written the portion that means the least to the layman - the "findings". Is there any way you can speak with the doctor who ordered the MRI to help put your mind at ease, even if it's over the phone?
