Just been thinking of the news we're seeing in the States this week about the wildfires you folks Down Under have been having.  Hoping and praying that none of our forum members are at risk from any of it.

Thank you!

Yes the fires have started early this year, they are in Sydney, i don't think we have any community member's from that state, so everyone should be ok :D Unfortunately most were deliberately set, 5 children (12-15) set 3 of the smaller ones and they caught an 8yr old trying to light some grass the other day but the biggest blase was started from a military explosive exercise gone wrong.

Summer is predicted to be hotter and longer than ever, black Saturday is forever seared in our minds and avoiding similar death tolls has changed how people and emergency services, in bush fire areas react to major threats. The property damage is big, 2 guys lost their lives protecting their homes, another died when his plane crashed whilst water bombing, it could of been a lot worse and i suppose that's something to be thankful for.

Cheers........JJ

Thanks.

I just wanted to acknowledge the Fire Fighters that are putting their lives on the line to extinguish these fires. It is a heartbreaking situation. It is even more devastating to think of children lighting some of these fires. I just pray there are no more deaths.

Thank you.....Karry.
