What a nice surprise! Be safe Candy, and have a great time. See you on the flip side! (((hugs))) =shell
Thanks everyone for all your wishes and suggestions. I am so excited about it and can hardly wait. We are going into the Santa Clara airport and then it is 90 inutes to the resort. It is on a sand spit out in the middle of the ocen, and sounds absolutely fantastic.
Just got some more bad news though, my sister that is one year older than me, is diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease... ( as of yesterday. ) .. I wonder what the heck my parents did, there are 4 of us girls, all 1 year apart, the oldest have RA, and just dx's with Lupus, next one Parkinsons, me with MS, and my younger sister cancer ...
wow, It makes me wonder what happened and what could have been avoided. we had a hard, horrible like as kids, but this is some payback.
so, must try and concentrate on our trip............... so, here we to to the pictures, I will send lots and lots, and will keep in touch too,
((HUIGS)) to all
Yayy, Candy!! You SOO deserve this break - I'm so happy for you! I LOVE Cuban food! And their music even more! Have a great time, and do some snorkeling for me - the biodiversity in the Caribbean is amazing.
Don't worry about your Copaxone or any other meds - travel is easy with them.
That's wonderful! Where in Cuba? I went to Varadero a few years ago... GORGEOUS beach, ocean warm like bath water!
I am often tempted to drive north across the border and catch a flight to Havana from CA. One of these days our travel ban will be lifted. You will have a great time on the beaches of Cuba.
X-ray won't hurt your copaxone. You dont want to expose it to extreme temps of heat or cold, so keep it in your possession at all times. You might check into a few extra things you can take to Cuba to use as barter for goods and services - I think I remember blue jeans are a good thing to take, but I may be wrong.
What a great way to start your summer.
Bring me back some cigars!
Have a great trip,
Kyle
So, happy for you Candy!
It's supposed to be beautiful and the weather is similar to Miami's but with more of sea-breeze because it's an island.
You and your DH have a wonderful time!! Be sure to take pics to share with us!
Ren
