yes you are probably right. I also couldnt understand why the spinal tap would be causing pain this long afterwards wondering if anyone else had their backs hurting so long after the tap. It does make sense that my gait is messing with the rest of my spine. ugh.
amazing how the body works or doesnt! I have noticed how when I am sitting if I "drop" my arm on my leg above the knee that it makes my leg jump. The reflexes are so exaggerated. Makes for some strange looks when around people who notice my leg suddenly jumping. lol

Hey babe,
I think the timing is way off for your lower back pain to be related to the LP, if you'd experienced lower back pain from the LP, which is one of the common side effects, I really doubt there could be a month gap before it started happening.
An alternate idea to consider since you've mentioned......
"I had neck surgery back in 2000. metal plate and 2 replacement bones. I have been having "issues" since at least 2008 which I blamed on my neck. well in March I was in a car accident and had a bone spur break off where metal plate is and have been having nothing problems ever since. I am declining as the months have gone by."
As well as more recently experiencing calf pain, which all makes me wonder if the problem could be from you're gate style altering to accommodate, placing additional strain on your already compromised spinal frame and now causing your lower back to hurt.....
Food for thought.......JJ
