I got disability!

Hi everyone,
I just had to share the good news. My disability hearing went so so well. My judge was very kind and patient. I didn't feel hassled or anything. Everyone was really supportive and the vocational advocate was so touch he was crying by the end of it. I'm so happy! I'll be able to get a house and assistance with day to day care so my boyfriend won't have to bear the weight of that role anymore. I just feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders and I didn't even know all that weight was there. My doctor said I needed to reduce my stress and I think this will go a long long way toward that for sure. I thought I'd have to wait a few months to even find out the outcome, but the minute we were off record he told me and OMG I just started bawling. It's been 3 years of being in a dark tunnel and I came out the other side yesterday. I would have posted yesterday after I got home, but I was OUT OF ORDER after all that activity; oh so much pain and a mean headache. I woke up with the headache today too, but now it's finally gone and I just can't sleep. I'm anxious in a good way about my future; that's new. =]

Thanks everyone, for your support

love and light,
Diemyn

This is the best news ever.  How relieved you must feel that this went so well.

I'll bet you DO feel the "weight of the world" is lifted off your shoulders.

I am SO happy for you, dearheart.  Like you said, it's been a long time coming.  Now rest up alittle bit and I hope that you are smiling all day long.  What a relief.

Warm Wishes,
Heather

I know this feeling exactly. I had a judge do the exact same thing with me, and I cried too!  I am so happy for you, especially for the "at home" help.  What a huge relief.  God bless you.
