can you help me read my MRI result?

Hello,

Can anyone please tell me what this result mean ?

1- No evidence of high signal intensity foci, hemorrhage, infraction, mass, brain edema or midline shift.
2- Partial empty sella variance os noted.
3- focal small area of altered signal intensity (intermediate in T1 & high in T2); is noted in the roof of nasopharynx in the midline & left paramidline may suggest atypical Thornwaldt cyst.
4- The visualized parts of the sinuses are unermarkable.

Thank you,

1- No evidence of high signal intensity foci, hemorrhage, infraction, mass, brain edema or midline shift.  (THIS MEANS THOSE AREAS ARE NORMAL).
2- Partial empty sella variance os noted. (NORMAL VARIENT - DON'T WORRY)
3- focal small area of altered signal intensity (intermediate in T1 & high in T2); is noted in the roof of nasopharynx in the midline & left paramidline may suggest atypical Thornwaldt cyst. (IF IT IS A TORNWALDT CYST, IT'S A NORMAL VARIANT SO DON'T WORRY)
4- The visualized parts of the sinuses are unrermarkable. (NORMAL)

THIS IS A COMPLETELY NORMAL STUDY.

Hi - Welcome to our group.

We are not doctors, just a bunch of folks with MS, or trying to find out if they have MS. Sounds like you fit into the latter category :-)

From what you have provided it does not look like there was any evidence of demyelination. Demyelination is the damage to nerve coatings that happens to those of us with MS.

Can you share more of your story with us?

Kyle
