My doctor told me that a good diet is very important. In particular, a diet that is very low in saturated (animal) fat, that contains good fats like olive oil, fish oil, etc. (omega 3), lots of organic fruits and vegetables, and whole grains. Avoid processed foods if you can. Some people also avoid dairy products. I follow the Swank MS diet very strictly. If you are interested, you can learn more at: www.swankmsdiet.org .

Hi Pande,

What do you mean by your question?  Please provide some more details.

There is no specific widely recognised special diet for MS, though there are some that people may try.

The main thing would be to have a highly nutritious diet, with plenty of vegetables, healthy fats and protein, fruits, and minimal processed foods. A diet that gives good nutrition and helps you maintain close to your ideal weight.

Traditional indian dishes are high in vegetables... probably ok.
