Laura makes good sense, but I'd also be double checking to be sure someone didn't mix up the orders. My neuropsych eval was tremendously helpful, but like everyone else I've read on here, it took a good half day or more. I had a meeting several weeks later with the supervising neuropsychologist (whom I had not met face-to-face until then; the tests were administered by student interns). That meeting was supposed to last 30 minutes, but because of my persistent questioning, he spent about 75 minutes with me, IIRC.
Hey, apparently we live in the same city.
I have never been part of a neuromuscular clinic but I have had a neuropsych evaluation. Mine was done at the hospital by a psychologist who probably wasn't specifically a neuropsychologist but had lots of experience doing neuropsych exams. I'm guessing that if you are only seeing him/her for 30 min that it must just be an initial meeting with more appointments to follow.
I think my evaluation took 6-7 hours total but over 5 appointments. I think it was well worth it even though my brain was working fairly well by the time I got my appointment.
I'm afraid I have no info on the rest of the specialists since I've never seen any of them. My neurologist had mentioned sending me for physical therapy to help with balance and numbness but I haven't done that yet. I would like to see an occupational therapist to help me at work. Sometimes I feel like I'm drowning and not able to do what I should (or at least not what I used to).
I think it's great that you're getting this opportunity even if you don't have mobility problems. It will be helpful to you if you ever end up with mobility issues in the future (fingers crossed that it never happens).

Wish I could be apart of rehab for weakness in my legs
Sounds like they really want to help
Take care

I do not have much in the way of mobility issues but I took a class called "Free From Falls" I learned a lot. How heat, cognitive, medication, distractions, muscle spasms, and other things can effect my MS. They evaluated each of us and helped us with are weaknesses.
Sounds like a good doctor who understands MS.
