I started out a few years ago with tingling, creepy crawly feeling near my ear/temple... this went on for a long time, an mri was done looking for anyeurisms in case a vessel was pinching it. MRI was normal. I would also get very sick with bladder infections but no bacteria.. but blood in urine all the time. (I often get up 3 times in a night to urinate, they want to check me for an irritable bladder).. A year or so after that I had a terrible thing happen to my eye.. there was some kind of disturbance or shimmering like effect that took a day or so and I could not really see out of it and then it was fine... then after that I was jogging and just fell right down with no warning... this happened twice... vertigo came after that too...then about 6 months later I was very very nauseated and sick again but this time I had what a doctor thought was either kidney pain or a pinched nerve pain in my back... that happened a couple of times months apart... kidneys were tested and all is fine there..then, after that came 2 seperate episodes of continual eye twitching for about 3 weeks straight.. doctor even gave me some pills to try to calm it down, but didn't work. a few months later I notice my thumb joint was getting very sore.... near a joint...I could not squeeze anything with it or use it, but mysteriously it got better after about 3 weeks too..??? now just about a month ago, I got very very sick again with nausea and vertigo.. again this lasted 2-3 weeks. and this time nystigamus was caught... in the meantime, the tingly creepy crawling feeling comes and goes and I was told that was vestibular nerve activity... also, the last time I got sick, I was diagnosed by a doctor with Labrynthitis... but, I know it is the same thing that I have had about 2 - 3 times a year for the past couple of years??? can one keep getting labrynthitis repeatedly with painful back and thumb that comes and goes, etc.. or does this sound like MS - I also have developed terrible pain down my leg, which I believe is called sciatica...? I thought that eveyrone got that from time to time...and sometimes I get a very nasty ripping, twisting feeling behind my eye/ear area where the tingling comes from.....it comes on real fast and goes away real fast.. that only happens every few months too. I have failed balance tests and I am only 42 - I am off to a neurologist soon...what do you think?
Also, just to add that when my thumb gets really sore like that, I also get a numb arm upwards from the thumb at the same time... like there is sand in my arm or something or like it has fallen asleep... any thoughts?
