I'm having this too, and it's very annoying. I have tingling and numbness around the mouth and tongue. It's been mostly on rather than off for the last two weeks or so. When it goes away I'm relieved. When it comes back, not so much.
I've had numbness around my mouth for the last 4 years, I have diabetes. I've been for all kinds of tests, but I still don't know what is causing this. It used to be just once in a while, but now it's all the time, does anyone know where I can look for answers to see what I can do to make the numbness go away. Many thanks. Twirp87

I've had several days of numbness in my face, it definetly feels very strange, and not fun. When I am having a bad day i often drool on my self when speaking, my family and friends just laugh which makes it easier to deal with. But the numbness hasn't lasted more then a day or two at a time.
Best of luck

hi there i was diagnosed this july and have tongue lip and face numbness i have a few lesions in my neck i think this is the cause of the facial numbness at times my taste buds dont work and at night my speach can be affected, all the best.
Yup - I had numbness on the right side of my mouth for some time. I kept biting my lip, and that hurt, so my pain nerves weren't affected - just the touch. I still have problems with lip weakness - I have to be careful about making sure that side of the mouth is completely closed.
