Hi,
I have a variety of auto-ammune diseases... I have Hashi-motto's Disease (thyroid, opposite of Graves Disease), I have Fibromyalgia, I have Osteo-Arthritis, I have Sero Negative Rheumatoid Arthritis (so they think, my Mom's has it) and I have Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis.. and I have a motto ~Live as if all your dreams came true~ So, yes you can have many auto-ammune diseases! I'm thinking once you have one you will probably end up with many more, it's just a matter of testing :)
hi tonya i am curious which other autoimmune disease do you have if you dont mind me asking?
Hello,
Yes, it is not uncommon to have more than one Auto Immune Disease. I too am DX'd w/ more than one Auto Immune Disease. I also have several friends who are dx'd w/ more than one also.
Hope you get some definitive answers soon.
Take Care,
~Tonya
Hi Mary,
I am new and not knowledgeable about all of these diseases. I can tell you that I already have two autoimmune diseases (Menieres Disease & Hypothroid) and currently being tested
for MS. So the answer to your question is "yes."
