Hi, and welcome!

I have a similar enhancement of C-2; it was an incidental finding on an MRI for neck pain, and most likely to be a benign hemangioma.  I've had it for at least 8 years.

Take care,

Kathy

They are correct.  MS lesions can ONLY be found in the central nervous system, the CNS.  This is the brain, cranial nerves, brainstem, and spinal cord.  Never in the bone or any other tissue other than the ones I listed.

The vertebral body, as you know, is bone only.

is this MRI on you neck...or back??  Cervial Spine...or Thor? Spine...

I think lesion in your neck might be a part...but not your lower back...

what does the MRI show?

Sorry I forgot, MS is a disease of the Central Nervous System.  It might be helpful to type CNS into google and see what this area consists of.  I am sure it will help you to understand if you saw it.  Hope this helps....

The short answer is no.  MS is a disease of the brain and spinal cord only.  It can be found no where else in the body.  It would only be in the spinal cord itself.  Not in any of the bones.
