I have had something similar but nothing came up on tests. I have symptoms of MS but have normal results too. Sorry i can't help. I am worried myself.
One time I was told it was vertigo... i remember it happening a lot when i was a teen. Now i am dizzy laying down....
It's hard to say, but it definitely sounds neurological. It's imperative that you seek help from a neurologist for this symptom.
I've never had repeated buzzing with blurring of vision, but I had an incident of optic neuritis in 2007. My vision got very blurry, and it looked like a gray cloud in front of my vision. Then my eyes started jerking around, and it looked like the room was spinning. I've had buzzing in my head for several years, and it was really bad in 2007 - to the point where it was hard to think. That and the vertigo didn't help!
My condition was because of a lesion on my optic nerve, and the buzzing and vertigo was because of lesions in my cerebellum and brainstem.
This doesn't mean that you have MS, but the problem shouldn't be ignored. You'll need an attentive neurologist, and probably a high-strength MRI to really help diagnose you. Since you've already had one, I would opt for a 3T MRI.
Hi there, I've just read your post & can totally relate to what you're saying as I have often experienced the dizziness and the other strange sensations you describe.
Hi Drg90 I have had this Buzzing sensations too.. annoying and seems to be constant.. like having a Locust in your ear but in my head. It has been going on for 3 mos now. I have never had this!!!! So I guess I will see when my MRI's come back. It can be realted to MS from what I have read but best to see the DR first. I get this FOG too,, weird! Feeling like I am in slow motion. I don't take many meds and I do take coumadin for a PE i had last year, which was bad. Now the Dr is testing me for the gene for Pancreatic cancer too. Darn.. too much going on. I hope you can find out what it is. I would love to know too. Nice to talk to you. myrudy
Hi amyee81,
By chance do you have migraines? I'm starting to wonder if some of my problems are being caused by Hemiplegic Migraines? It feels a little like a small seizure when I have a flare up and then I have stroke like symptoms for a short time after. Not getting much support from my doctor or neurologist. They keep saying it's panic attacks or stress related?! I don't agree.

I do get migraines.....however I have newly discovered that I have Lyme Disease......oh boy and I think for a long time
Hemaplegic usually refers to one side or the other of the body, often resulting in loss of use of limbs for a period of time. Scarey, but it goes away.
Usually no actual headache is involved. It was explained to me that there are 3 major blood vessels that go up the back of the neck and sometimes they do not stay open/shut as they should (blood vessels can do temporary collapses.
Hope that helps
