Lyme's and eyes

Mornin'!  Hope all had a great wkend!

Like a good daugher, I called my father yesterday for a long catch up.  We talked about if my "stuff" could be Lyme's.  While I was tested for it in Feb, I've heard lots about false negatives and different tests, etc.

I've looked some online but figure lots of ya'll probably know a lot about mimics, and I was wondering if anyone knows if Lyme's can affect your eyes?

Sooner or later I'll be back at my PCP's, and when I am, I am hoping to re-evaluate if I may need more blood tests done, or re-done.  I haven't directly worked with chemicals since undergrad, but betweeb undergrad/grad/postdoc I've been working/studying in chemistry/physics departments for over 10 years.  I think I've read other ppl mention a possible connection between exposure and symtpoms?  Any advice on non-standard blood tests that I might request?

Just hoping if I keep turning over rocks, I'll find some bugs (so that they can be SQUASHED!)

Thanks!

Western blot is preferred.... still has a false negative rate. If they tell you it's negative then ask if any bands came back positve. They are all bloood tests

Thanks for the reply.  I don't know the difference between Elisa, western blot, etc.  Which test(s) would ppl recommend?  Are they all blood tests?  I want to make sure this has been properly considered!

Thanks again.

Yes Lyme has affected my eyes.. I get blurred vision, twitches, visual tracking issues an a lot of other wierd stuff. I have Lyme but my Elisa was negative and western blot had 1 band positive (23) so I am not CDC positive for lyme....but I am lyme positive in the lyme world.
