The heat has definitely become my enemy. I also will not shower unless my husband is here. I can't stand cool water in the shower, so I continue to use warm/hot, but not too hot. My left leg goes numb every time, sometimes feels like a load of bricks and I get so lightheaded at times.
Since the summer heat has come rolling in, I have really noticed a big difference. Just walking to the car is enough to get it all going. I don't really drive anymore, very little. I may drive to the library or the store, both odf which are only about a mile from my house. Otherwise, my dear hubby is my chauffer. Needless to say a majority of my day is spent here at home- ugh!
We are having a heatwave here in out area since the weekend. It has been horrible. The fatigue has been so unbearable, I also have pulsating tinnitis, which seems to be set off by the heat outside. It's frustrating, I used to love the outdoors, now I spend a majority of my time in the house.

thanks guys and ladies for your thoughts yes i should have traken a cold pack along and some icewater what was i thinking
I have the overheating problem, too. Sometimes I tend to "forget" that I need to stay aware so as to not get into trouble with it.
For instance, I was out front talking to a neighbor last week. I was standing in the full sun for quite a while. When I started feeling rubbery and dizzy, it dawned on me.
The other problem I have is with the shower. I simply cannot stand a cold shower. Yet a warm/hot shower knocks me on my butt (someone is always home when I shower). I am not sure what to do with this one. ;0/
Be careful with the heat...
Addi
I definitely know your pain. What ever is causing this reaction to heat, it is been MiSerable (I stole that from you Lu), here in the foundry. I've been getting very hot, and losing my strength, and sheer will. Has been causing me to sleep a lot to. Lol @ Lulu, "lesson learned".
Good luck in the future
John
Luckily for us we do not have the same heat here in the UK and I just went for a swim and found it very refreshing...but my legs really ached afterwards.
Anyhow it sounds as if it was the waiting in the truck for 45 minutes that caused the main problem and too great a contrast from having had the cool swim. Take care and hope you are feeling better now.
Love Sarah x
You have to stay cool as best you can. Take cold showers and dip into pools that aren't heated. Well, that's what I do here in Michigan---lois
Yep! And the lesson learned? Next time wait in the pool where you can stay cool! LOL
Seriously, that heat can sneak up on us and we have to be careful.
stay cool, Lu
