possible MS

well, last week I went to quick care for numbness of my mouth.  I also had tics of my mouth.  Before I knew it, I was in an ambulance on my way to the hospital.  They say I had a seizure.  After 2 days in the hospital, I was discharged with instructions to find a neurologist.  I went for my neurology appt today.  My EEG and CAT scan were negative.  My MRI results lead my neurologist to send me for a lumbar puncture to check for possible MS.  I am taking medication for the seizure they say I had.  Now just waiting for insurance to approve the lumbar puncture.  I still have some numbness on the side of my mouth when I eat.  Sometimes, I have to stop eating, massage my mouth and wait for the numbness to go away, then continue eating. This is all so new and scary to me.  I am a single mom, so I have lots of responsibility.  I can go back to work Monday, but no driving for 3 months. Just looking for people to talk to with similar situations, or who have already been through this much.

I have a lot of twitching, numbness and tremor which I worry about being a seizure sometimes, but to my knowledge have never had one. It can be quite scary, but not nearly as scary as being wisked away in an ambulance!

That sounds pretty scary!  I've never had a seizure, but I've had similar symptoms, including the numbness and twitching.
