Dr.'s are not sure if I have MS or Fibro, I need help.

I have severe muscle fatigue and drop things sometimes out of my right hand.  This Sunday my right side of my body hurt from the top of my jaw to the bottom of my foot.  My right arm and right leg still hurt, the doctor told me to start my Lyrica and see what happens from there.  How do I get the doctors to listen to me? How long does it take to be dx with MS? What are the major signs of MS that the doctors look for? Thanks for any help.

The diagnosis of MS can be long and disheartening.  At this point, it likely is not, but these neuro issues are so complex and hard to figure out, and whatever the outcome, it's exhausting having to push on.

Have you seen a neurologist?  Had mris and a neuro exam done?

Sometimes it's helpful to see other specialists. For instance, see a physical therapist for a full work up to look for weakness.  If you have any vision issues, have your gp or optometrist refer you to a neuro opthalmologist.

Until the imaging and test results are textbook, (for ms or something else) it often becomes a case of being followed.

You might ask at the fibro board whether pain on one side is typical; I have no experience with fibro at all.

MS neurologists consider weakness, balance, sensory changes, certain bowel and bladder issues, vision issues to be some of the more important ms-related symptomology.  All-over symptoms, headaches, pain, etc. Are often ignored as red flags away from an ms diagnosis.

Aspen, I have seen a neurologist and he was a quack. During the appointment he proved to me that he did not listen to a word I had said.  He told me point blank you are fat and overweight and I will not do anything for you unless you agree to do a sleep study.  I am seeing an internal medicine doctor now.  I have had bladder issues for years, my vision has gotten horrible in the last year, (it was not great before).  I can put my hand on a hot pot or touch a baked potato that has just came out of the oven and it not be hot, too me.
I had a MRI and the neuro told me that he was not going to go by what the radiologist read he was going by what he read.
I drop things when I have it in my right hand, this is not all the time just sometimes.  When I tell the doctor that I have done this they want to know if I have numbness or tingling right then and there.  When I tell them no they dismiss that issue.  I have gone to Urgent Care three times now for the symptoms and they say it looks like MS, I had my pc tell me it looks like MS, my pc has ruled out in auto immune issue that you can do by blood work, but the specialist just tell me they don't know what is wrong.  I can list all of my symptoms for you,
Severe fatigue, blurry vision, ringing in my ears (this one drives me crazy), vertigo spells, weakness in muscles mostly right side, achy (flu feeling) muscles, headaches, bladder issues, depression (dx 7-2016), sometimes it feels like my bones hurt.  My weight is going up and my food intake is going down.  My bowel movements oh my word are horrible from diarrhea to constipation. It is like right now if I got still I would go to sleep, I am so dizzy and tired. Thank you for any help.
