Weariness

Lately I'm just so tired. It's not the bone-crushing fatigue that Quix and others describe. I can function when I need to. But I am often overwhelmed with weariness, lassitude and low energy. I want to lie down a lot. I have lots of stuff to do and I do want to do it. Haven't lost interest and don't feel depressed. But it's hard to get up and go, much harder than is usually my style.

I also have separate issues going on. The day after Christmas I caught a nasty cold that I couldn't shake for several weeks. There were indications of a secondary sinus thing. I dosed myself a lot with OTC meds, and it would get better and worse, but I either felt dopey with the meds or miserable with the cold symptoms. I continue to suffer from insomnia to one extent or other. I almost never get a really good night's sleep, and have prescriptions for this which I don't like to take regularly, but I do take some maybe 3 times a week anyway. I just can't help it.

Got some digestive problems too, and am wondering also about my blood sugar. The bottom line of this, of course, is to see my PCP, so I made an appointment for tomorrow. Enough of this is enough.

Clearly not every illness we get is from neuro stuff, and most of what I'm describing isn't. But what I'm asking your comments about is whether the tiredness part might be. To me it doesn't seem to match what others here contend with. Your responses will be helpful, so thank you.

My sweet precious ess,

Wow you have alot going on.  No wonder you are exhausted.  Don't forget about the 100 mile round trip you just took last week, to be with me, when I buried my daddy.  That in itself is exhausting.....the emotions, the traveling all adds into the other things going on in your life.

You have to listen to what your body is trying to tell you...and it's telling you that you need more rest.  The fact that you are recovering from a cold only adds to the fatigue issues.

I am so glad that you made an appointment with the GP.  I am anxious to hear all about your appt.  Please re-post as your energy will allow and let me know what he said.

If you don't mind, I will include you in my prayers.  You already know that I send you all my love.  If I could send you any strength I would, so the only way I know how to do that is through prayers, my precious one.

Big ((((HUGS))))) and feel better, dear lady.
Heather

Hi Ess,

I've had both or maybe the spectrum of fatigue . The bone crushing were I couldn't hold my head up for very long . That eased off a bit and went into a general tiredness . Yep , I wasn't depressed , just couldn't get the umph to do much of anything ( that lasted at least seven months )

It just started to change Jan. 4.  Yesterday and today ,nice and gentle feeling, so far so good (crossing fingers )  ,  walking was super easy .   I feel that I have a real comparison ..   I have truly questioned my sanity .

They need a new category for us !!!

Be well           Jo
