totally OT re: trip to NYC

I leave for NYC a week from today; as if I wasn't excited enough, I got a voice mail message to call the Letterman show back for two tickets while I'm there!  But apparently I need to answer a Letterman trivia question...omg.  I've watched him for years but pay little attention to fine details.  My husband would be a great help as he is much better at stuff like this.  However at the moment he is not much help at all, given he is in Miami till tomorrow night.  I need to call back tomorrow morning.  I'm googling like mad and getting some good suggestions from others who've been through it.  Just wondering whether anyone here has done so and if you have any good advice for me???

I, too, have watched Letterman for years but am not sure if I could answer a trivia question. Depends what years they are talking about. I used to watch nightly back in the days of Larry "Bud" Melman, talking with his mom back in Indiana on the phone, when they gave out canned hams and audience participation in Brush With Greatness.

I do send good luck wishes that you get the tickets. Have a fantastic time in NY!!

whatever you do, don't ask how the wife and his son are doing!

Do you get Letterman up there?  We split our viewing between him and Conann.  I prefer Jay, especially now that he is on at 10.

What fun for you - I bet the trivia question is nothing too tough for you.

I wish I were closer to NY to meet up and have a lunch or something- you will have a marvelous time, I'm sure.

be well,
Lulu
