well here my symptons

25 year male. Lives in PA

At about age 21 or so, I began to have itch attacks. Mainly when I got hot at the gym, or coming in from the cold into a warm house. What would happen is my whole body would get extremly itchy, tingling, burny. But mainly itchy. At the gym, this would happen until a sweat broke out, after I starting sweating a good amount, I would be fine. This gets worse in the winter. Its been on and off for the last 4-5 years. I have had months, where it donset bug me, then months where it does. So it could or may not be realted at all. Hard to tell.

Before age 22, no medical iussues what so ever. Was stand out HS track and wrestling star, extreme sports junkie, avid motocross racer.

at age 22.5, I became very very sick, while working in sewer lines and the woods for my job. I developed chills, fever, and swollen lymth nodes in my groin on and off for several months. No docotor could find a answer, but not too much was done as far as testing. It slowly got better. this may not have anything to do with anything.

Right after that.... (5 months)
At age 23, I developed left sided facial numbness. Now, this came on instantly, overnight, not gradually. It was the left side of my face only, but I would get creepy crawlers and tiningling in other parts of my head along with it. This Left sided facial numbness, felt like novicane wearing out. It was real bad for about 1 year, but now is much better, but still there a little bit, but def. improvment.

2 months ago, I started having migrains, light sensativity, and mild vertigo out of no where. I usually dont get headaches. There headaches have been nearly constant from 1.5 months, usually only in the afternoon-evening. Vertigo, comes usually after them, but that has got aloot better too. Had a grandpa who suffered w migrains and the light thing but thats it.

Right now my symptons, are.... I still have the left sided facial numbness, but its alot better compared to last year.
I still get the whole body itchyness thing at times, its totaly random. I do get tingles here and there throughout my body, but allot of people may too. I have noticed some chills, weird sensations in the back of my head.
-Still have the light sensativiy nearly everyday, and most days the terrible headche, that usualy is in the afternoon-evening. In the mornign my head is usually fine. Still get the vertgio, but its way better now.

I have noticed my left leg, feels slight numb weaker at times lately. from my knee down, but it still has incredible strenght even when it feels weak ro numb, maybe just a normal thing, i dont know.

- I can still run a mile, quite easily.

oh, yeah

I have had 3 MRI's. One last month, another 2 last year.

All unremarkable.

Hi,
I read your symptoms and saw that you have had MRIs. What other testing was done?

You write that you work in the woods..have you been tested for Lyme  WITH the Western Blot, (most accurate) ? Lyme is one of the MS mimics.

Wish you well in your search for a diagnosis!!

Hi there,
just wanted to say that my son 18 years get the same itch usually on the head. Always when he gets hot or his core temperature goes up .ie in the shower, during excercise or if he gets upset etc.. Can happen with pubescent boys and young men and can last years.
Dont know if this is any help or not. But sounds the same. sweating helps to cool you back down and once your body temp is back to normal the itch stops. Not sure what its called .
As for the facial numbness I wonder if it could be connected with the migraines??
