If you haven't had your magnesium levels tested, I would. I have to supplement with magnesium based on a deficiency.
Personally I wouldn't supp with anything unless I knew I was deficient by bloodwork.
I recently read a research report that is suggesting ms relapses in spring/summer may be related to low melatonin, which I found interesting and will follow that research.
All I take is vitamin D and my tysabri. Everything else is within normal limits. The blood work was extensive. (My veins are still screaming)I eat very healthy. (Lean protein and lots of vegetables- organic ) I have eliminated sugar, flour, caffeine, alcohol and dairy. It is so difficult adjusting to my new normal. My diet does energize me but not being able to go running is so disheartening. Still cannot believe my diagnosis.
Be well. Thanks for being there for me while I am still so green.

That is a hard question to answer. Mine says it is simply the ones you are low in. I was tested for D, potassium, B12, an Folic Acid. In my case I was taking too much. I was supplementing but it turned out I was not low.

Neuros do urge vitamin D, but the reason they don't recommend any other supplements, diets, etc., is that none have been shown to be effective. If something had, we'd all be on it. Eating a healthful diet overall, getting some exercise if possible, and generally taking good care of oneself are good for MSers and good for all.
