will i inform my doc?

hi a question for all , i have spinal lesions a few at my neck and a few at the base of my spine if i do too much i get severe pins and needles which i have become used to recently i have noticed while turning round in the car to get my handbag from behind the passenger seat i get this wham shock effect starting in my groin with severe pins and needles down my right thigh also when lifting my arm up to put my hood up last night the same feeling it takes my breath away , during the night getting up for my usual visit to the loo my right leg seems dead and takes a few minutes to come too, i was at my nuero 2 weeks ago and he said its not ms related its coming from my back? my sister was saying maybe you have a trapped nerve or something dont know if i should just live with it or go to my doctor with it if i leave it will it do more damage what do you think folks? is this just something i should plod on with and get used to?

I don't understand why your doctor doesn't think that this could not be MS related if you have spinal lesions and a diagnosis of MS.  This doesn't make sense to me.  Does your MRI show anything like bulging discs or something besides the lesions that your doctor could be referring to?

If it persists I would tell your doctor again about the severity.  Maybe he just didn't get how severe this problem is.  If he again thinks it's something besides MS, ask him what it could be.  I have bulging discs in my neck, which doesn't press on the spinal cord, but does cause a lot of pain.  I did get shots in my neck to help.  Your neurologist should be helping you with this--even if it's not MS related.
