Hello, I've had the same problem and my doctor also said he'd never seen thiswith a pregnant woman. My problems started when I was 32 weeks pregnant. I had doublevision, my left eye couldn't move to the left. Very irritating! My bloodpressure was perfect (a bit low actually..) and MRI and labs all came back clear. I had a dispatch. Because the baby was ok, they didn't want to induce me. I gave birth to my son after 39 weeks. I didn't need to go to the hospital: he was born at home. Five weeks after he was born, my sight was back to normal. Here in the Netherlands, I couldn't find anybody who has had the same (sixth nerve palsy) during pregnancy.
Just thought I'd update, for anyone suffering from the same issue. My left eye would not move left of midline. It wad miserable and awkward. I had to look at everyone with my head cocked to the side, and had an dispatch. The MRI and labs all came back clear. The only thing they could find wrong with me was high blood pressure, which i had before pregnancy and became a bigger problem during pregnancy. They put me bp medication, which made me light headed constantly and i was put on home rest. I was put under the care of a high risk maternity doctor and baby was monitored twice a week. They had never seen issues like mine without pre eclampsia so they were watching me closely and decided to induce me at 36 weeks. After 20 hours or so baby's heart rate was dropping so they delivered via c section. Baby was born healthy and in no need of the nicu. In the recovery room my mom made a comment that my vision looked better, and i could tell it was a little. It improved quickly and was back to normal within a month or so. My next pregnancy was monitored very closely and the bp was controlled and caused no additional issues.
