Bubbling sensation in scalp just above temple.

I've recently started to experience a bubbling feeling on the left side of my head, under my scalp, just above my temple, I'd say about an inch higher. It isn't painful, but can be annoying when trying to sleep. It happens occasionally and lasts for about 30mins on off. I suffer from what my doctor calls, ear eczema, the canal of my left ear gets very dry and inflames, causing great pain and discomfort leading to an infection. Two years ago I had about ten ear infections in the space of twelve months. Each time I was told it was just an infection, got prescribed antibiotics and that was that, it's only just come to light about the dry ear. Otomize earspray is what I've been prescribed and it's worked. But since I've used it, I've had this bubbling feeling. Is it connected? Or is it something else? Also, I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant.

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
The bubbling sensations could be due to throbbing veins in that area, it can also be due to sinusitis.
It could also be a starting point for migraine headaches. I would suggest you to keep yourself relaxed and make sure you are physically active. Cold compresses on the affected part may also help.
