Dr Doctor:
The list of symptoms is too long to write it in here, but I will limit them to the most important and the ones which bothers me the most.
Started Feb 08 with low back pain, eventually pain moved all around the back and neck. Followed tingling sensation all around hands, fingers, toes, legs and even face. Numbness basically limited to fingers in both hands and left foot toes. Just recently I developed positional vertigo. i also have Sciatic like pain and some muscular weakness.
I had no major car accidents of events that I remember that could had made a back or neck injury other than things related to my job as a flight attendant.
I've being evaluated by Internist, Neurologist, Chiro, Phisiatrist and recently a pain management doctor, although I dont have major pain; it is more like neck and back spasms.
Being on more than 10 medications: Celebrex, Neurontin, Baclofen, Skelaxin, Relafen, Flexeril, to mention some.
Things thar really work for me are Baclofen and Lidoderm patches, although some days I still have the spasms.
A Cervical MRI showed:
Straightening is noted suggesting spasm. Correlate clinically. There is a small right posterolateral C5-6 herniated nucleus pulposus with evidence of severe right foramina stenosis at this level secondary to uncovertebral arthitis, Anterior spondylosis C5-6 C6-7, Bulging disc C6-7, Degenerative disc diseace C6-7.
Brain and lumbar MRI impression: Unremarkable study as described.
The reason why I want a second opinion on the EMG is because the doctor who perform it does not want to write the impressions on it. So he just gave a copy of it which any of my other doctors cant interpret and I cant have a second one as my insurance only approve one every year.
So it is 11 pages of graphics that no one can understand. I wish there is a place were I can post it and an expert can tell me what all this graphics means and what the results are.
It measures motor nerves, sensory nerves, FWave/HReflex, waveforms and on and on. But nobody can read it.
Any sugestions Doctor?
Thank you for your time.
