Hello.
While we are discussing about the cysts, can you mention here something more about the cysts ? Did the doctors give you any insights about the cysts that were detected in the MRI ? Which part of the brain are they situated in ?
Croup is caused by a virus (parainfluenza virus), or bacteria. Have any lab tests been done to rule out infection of the respiratory infection ?
Regards
Thanks for reponding,
My nephew kept coming down with Croup, He has had it 4 or 5 times. They did the initial MRI to see if he had anything wrong with his throat that would cause the Croup to come back so frequently. The doctors stated that it was due to Acid Reflux. Now if that is true, I"m not sure.
Thanks again
Hello.
The cysts can be benign, or harmless. You will probably need to monitor your nephew's growth and development closely. And also watch for any symptoms.
The cysts are pockets of fluid collection. These form during the early development stages.
What problems did your nephew had with the throat ?
