Confused

Last night I had this weird sensation, and it scares me. I would call my Neurologist, but I fired him, and I am in search of a new one. I know I should have found a new one first.

Last night about five minutes after I laid down my head popped on the right side. It's like you would pop a nuckle or something. It didn't hurt or anything. Just like a big pressure relief. My Blood pressure is never hight it's average is 102/60 and sometimes 106/35. After the popping sensation my head jerked to the right.

This isn't the first time I have complained about unasnwered symptoms though. The reason I fired my Neurologist is because he would just focus on one thing, and not test other things. I have had problems with my balance, falling, speech, stuttering, choking, scanning when I talk, my vision going in and out, when my vision goes in and out so does my hearing on the same side. Burning sensation in my  head and body. Spasticity in my legs the most, ankles, arms (lower) back (at times) and when it's at its worse in my neck but not often.

I have problems with my small motor skills at times I could go on and on, but I won't. However my Neurologist was stuck on the abused child syndrome and I was offended. I am not a headcase. I am not making myself fall, and I DESPISE having to walk with a cane. I LOVE cleaning and when it takes me hours to do the dishes instead of 20 to 30 minutes like normal it pisses me off to no end.

So, What was that popping sensation? Because now, today, I can't walk straight again, and I have severe pressure in my head again, and the burning sensation is back, and I haven't had it for a good 2-3 weeks.

Hi,

How are you?
Your symptoms seem to indicate a neurological lesion. It could be a growth inside the brain. At the same time motor neuron disease and MS also cannot be ruled out.
I would suggest you to seek consultation with a neurologist and undergo a complete neurological evaluation.
Do keep us posted and let us know if we can be of any further help.

You need to be seen at a major university teaching hospital.  Neurologists there sub-specialize and with complex symptoms like yours, you need the expertise and resources of a teaching hospital (they are equipped to run more tests than smaller facilities and are up to date on all the cutting-edge research).  Want to find the best hospital near you?
