My Story

I have an Anarchoid Cyst which i believe i was born with and it was discovered when i was 2 and fell out of a car then they did a scan and said i had this cyst that was .2 x .2 cm and that it was nothing to worry about when i was 14 i have noticed i been getting headaches everyday and also the feeling of dizziness where i can barely function especially in the summer time and i have seen neurologist for this and all they ever gave me were pills that barely helped. I am now 20 years old and this past week or 2 i have been feeling these terrible sharp pains in my head and migraines and nausea and then my vision got blurry so i then went to the hospital again they just tried to give me medicine to make the pain go away and send me home but i told them "So your not going to tell me what is causing this?" and that's when they talked came back and decided to give me a CT scan and said i have a 4'7 x 1'9 cm cyst on the right side of my brain and now i have an appointment with a neurosurgeon this week and i am a little nervous on what to expect.

Sorry to hear what you are dealing with. There are a lot of people who have similar symptoms without an answer.

All I can say is that you take the bull by the horns, be strong and hope that everything turns out to be ok. The neurosurgeon is going to need to get that cyst out if your head for one, especially if it's causing pressure. 2 he will need to do a biopsy to make sure it's malignant.
