Hi to all. I am supposedly getting my shunt for PTC/IH on Monday morning at the Univ of Utah Hospital. It is supposed to be one night stay in the hospital and then two additional days in the local area. I have had the diagnosed PTC for about 2.5 yrs and had symptoms longer than that. Good luck with your project!!
I am posting an IH research paper in my journal in about 2 weeks feel free to pull any info from it you want... 14 yrs old with this what a shame. I am so sorry you have to suffer at such a young age. I wish everyone a pain free day.

Hi Ashley, I hope your documentation is well under way. What would you like to know? Short story : I knew something was wrong with me when every time I stood up or bent over my vision became gray- completely. I couldn't see for a few seconds and then it gradually faded. I went to my opthalmologist, he noticed papilledema in my eyes and sent me to the hospital. I was there for 3 or 4 days and diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri. From there I was put on medicine and I see both a neurologist and a neuro-opthalmologist regularly. If you would like more help feel free to write!
Hi there!
It is nice to learn the way you are coping with your condition. It is indeed very hard to maintain a positive attitude and I really commend you for having achieved this. However, as much as I would want to, I live in another country in asia and I believe I cannot help you much with your filming. I call on other's out there who are in this forum if they will be interested in doing this film with you. Wishing you all the best!!! Regards and God bless.
