Leg Numbness

I am 27 year old now. I recently finished my medication for an inactive TB diagnosis. Since I started taking medicine, I am feeling numbness, burning, and tingling in both of my lower legs. It does not hurt but is really comfortable. I have to keep moving to reduce those feeling. Whenever I stand still for a while, those feeling come.

When I started taking that medicine, I also started to work out like pulling weights and running. So, I am not sure what have affected my legs?

Please help.

Thanks for the advise.

I met with my doctor and he suggested me that I may be having neuropathy in my feet. He prescribed me to take B-6 20mg or Beelith Vitamins. I just want to your opinions on these medicine. And is there any side effects?

Right now I am involved in lot of physical activities like running and workout. I spend around 2 hr each for 5 days in in a week for these activities. Also I am planning to add Yoga (esp. breathing exercise) in my routine from next week. Should I keep continue with my routine or cutback or stop for recovery? Its really getting worse compared to last month.

Please share your opinion.

Thank you.

Thank you for your question. Although without being able to examine you I can not offer you the specific advice on diagnosis and treatment that you need, but I would try to provide you some relevant information about your health concern.

With few of the TB medications, Vitamin B Complex (esp B12) is prescribed to avoid a potential side effect of medicines like neuropathy. Therefore, I would recommend consult your doctor first to evaluate this possibility or any other nerve injury cause. Hope this helps.
