For about 2 months now, I'm feeling lightheaded every day. I've gone to see my PCP, ENT doctor, chiropractor, eye doctor, and neurologist - no one has found anything. I've also had multiple blood tests, physical exams, and MRI - all came back fine.
At this point the only recommendation left is seeing a cardiologist for tilt table test, but I doubt it will reveal anything, my blood pressure always seems to read fine.
This lightheadedness often turns into dull headaches, and for some reason the symptoms tend to feel a little better when I'm driving in my car, when I get up and walk around, or sometimes when I am actively engaged in conversation with someone (I know it sounds weird). These things never help a lot, but there is a small noticeable difference. It doesn't even feel like dizzyness or vertigo, there is really no feeling of spinning, swimming, or losing balance - it just feels like I'm light-headed, kind of like I'll pass out if it gets any worse. It typically starts to come on a half hour or so after I've woken up in the morning, and the only time it seems to go away for the most part is when I'm home in the evening, although I've noticed it comes back all of a sudden late at night if I'm still up. Laying down always helps, but it always seems to come back again eventually once I get back up.
I don't really feel many other symptoms - sometimes tingling in my feet, and slight weakness in my legs, but that is subtle. I've had Crohn's Disease for close to 15 years now, but I've been in remission for over a decade, and my stomache/appetite are fine right now.
At this point I truly am lost and don't know where to turn for help. I can't even fathom the thought of having to deal with this for the rest of my life. Nothing is more depressing then pleading with every doctor for helping figuring this out, and only getting a polite shrug.
Thanks for your time,
Dan
