Correction on the first line,
The word interval was and seen were inadvertently typed interva and sain, repectively.
Doc,
May ask for your opinion for my second MRI taken 08/26/08. I want to know what is the explanation about it.
There is a comparison of my first MRI taken on 03/11/08 which is here posted. I shall appreciate your help and information shared.
Below is my second MRI.
MRI BRAIN WITHOUT AND WITH CONTRAST.
HISTORY: Demyelinating disorder.
TECHNIQUE: Sagittal T1 and FLAIR, and axial diffusion, T2, FLAIR, and images; 20 ml intravenous Magnivest given.
COMPARISON: 3/11/2008
FINDINGS: No significant interva change. Again sain are linear T2/FLAIR weighted hyperintense lesion present in the cerebral hemispheres. Approximately seven lesions are in the right parietal lobe. A single tiny lesion in the subcortical white matter of the anterior right frontal lobe near the vertex. Two small linear lesions in the left corona radiata. A single small lesion in the subcortical white matter of the left parietal lobe. The largest lesion is in the right parietal lobe and remains stable at 10 mm in length. The largest lesion in the right parietal lobe and the lesion in the posterior left corona radiata again demonstrate diffusion weighted hyperintensity. The largest lesion in the right parietal lobe demonstrates mild T1 weighted hypointensity. No enhancing lesion is evident. No brainstem lesion is evident.
No enhancing intracranial mass. No definite intracranial hemorrhage. No mass effect or medline shift. Ventricles are normal in size. Gray-white matter differentiation is intact. Orbits are intact. Flow voids aerated. Mild mucosal build thickening in the frontal, ethmoid, and maxillary sinuses.
Motion is present.
Duplicate FINAL
IMPRESSION:
Stable hyperintense lesion, as describe above. They are suggestive for demylinating plaques related to the multiple sclerosis. Please clinically corellate.

It's been about few months now that I have been expreriencing a static sharp pain at he back part of my skull especially on the right side of my head. Also, the pain in my left side arm is becoming more often. I don't know what is makes painful. It feels like it sores for no apparent reason and losses strength. These things are bothering me. I would have my consult with a neurologist to be scheduled probably in October.
I hope you can help me on this.
Thank you very much!
Hello.
You need not worry much about the Technique of the MRI. T1, T2 and FLAIR are different ways an MRI scan is captured to detect different types of lesions.
The lesions in your brain suggest a vascular (blood circulation) problem. Since you are 33 now, you should get your blood pressure checked. Hypertension (high blood pressure) can lead to focal areas of cell death in the brain. The dizziness and the giddiness could also be due to the high blood pressure.
Additionally, get your eyes checked for "fundus" examination. The ophthalmologist will be able to tell you if you have any hypertensive changes in the eye.
Demyelination is destruction of the myelin sheath which covers each nerve cell. It can occur after an infection, as an autoimmune or acute injury.
