Getting very frustrated Dr.'s don't know what this is.....

I have had this little blue looking mass on my arm for quite some time now. Been to plenty of doctors and even got an MRI and recently visited one of the top surgeons in my area last week but even he doesn't know what it is. I will try to post a picture of what it looks like but here is some more about it, maybe someone can help me...

It started off when I was about 7 looking like a bruise, blue in color and there was no texture. Within that time, it formed into a pea-sized mass and you can clearly see it's a mass of something. Some time later the one bump turned into 3 and is about the size of a quarter, it's been bothering me by making my arm fall asleep and sometimes hurts, gets a sharp pain like someone is poking it, and obviously if I mess around with it it hurts too. But I took the MRI to the surgeon and he has not a clue what it is. Not a lymphangioma, not a neuroma, it has nothing to do with the vascular system he said, it is a mass but he isn't sure what kind. I'm getting very frustrated on what it could be. Help?

I would agree; doesn't sound cancerous.

Well, get the biopsy done and go from there.

they haven't biopsied it yet, the surgeon is trying to schedule surgery for it though. and they have ruled out limpomas, lymphangiomas, neuromas, nobody knows exactly what it is. and he said from the looks of the mri it's not cancerous or anything like that.

Sorry dear, it is very difficult to see in your picture.

Has anyone ever biopsied these?

What ever it is sounds like it is pressing against nerve endings causing the pain and the arm to "fall asleep."

I am not sure if you are dealing with Lipomas; "fatty tumors."  These tumors consists of adipose tissue.
